May 21ST , 2010 – (New York, NY & Las Vegas, NV) The International Domino Federation, DominoUSA and R. Paniagua, Inc. present the $40,000 World Domino Championship at the Las Vegas Hilton, Memorial Day weekend May 26th - 29th. The World Domino Championship program is set with 400 players from over 20 countries traveling to Las Vegas to compete for the Championship Medal and the $40,000 cash prize. A classic “double six” tournament will be supervised by the DominoUSA Federation. “Hundreds of players from all over the world have confirmed their participation, said Manny Oquendo, President of DominoUSA Federation. The U.S. Army will be represented by the winning team from Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico.

R. Paniagua, Inc. and DominoUSA will produce the World Domino Championship event at the Las Vegas Hilton.  “This event combines a professionally run tournament and a fun weekend for the participants, their families and friends, in one of the best tourist destinations in the world, Las Vegas,” concluded Ralph Paniagua, President of R. Paniagua, Inc.

RPI first presented the World Domino Tournament at the Hilton and aired the tournaments on ESPN Deportes. The event is sponsored by Dominican Republic Tourism who will host the World Domino Open at Sosua Bay Grand Casino October 7-10, 2010. Hennessy will be the official liquor sponsor of the event.
